CSVToolbox is a collection of tools that can be used ‘clean’ CSV files, Excel spreadsheets and database tables that can be imported/exported to/from CSV files. Cleaning includes:

- identifying missing information and blank fields;
- reformatting dates, phone numbers, and other types of numerical fields;
- identifying and potentially fixing misspelled personal names;
- fixing and verifying US based addresses; and
- removing duplicate records.
Any number of files can be input and processed. You can define any number of output file formats and generate them one at a time as needed or all at once.
These tools have been used to clean personal contact and mail lists from multiple sources on a semi-regular basis for a non-profit organization quarterly mail and phone campaigns.
